This exhibition represents the journey of my art since leaving university in 1999. Through the influence of renaissance art and the materials used by the artist of the era in particular I became interested in the idea of creating art with organic materials. Understanding paint and how to manipulate it in order to create different effects became my fascination. These effects include water effects in my Aquatic motion series and lighting effects in my Musician series. Now I am using similar effects to create an abstract image which is representational of nature. The work can also be seen at East Coast Blues and Roots in an exhibition entitled The Green Room held in the V.I.P tent.
